Glorious weather and a keen jink were responsible tor many bowler* being present on the local green on Wednesday afternoon", and full advantage, was taken to play several matches for Mr Edwards' trophy. The results of the games are as follows: —Ayro V, Williams. 17-15; Ollivor V. Windier, 24-13; IX Noble v. Webster, 25-7: Windley v. Williams, 18-15; Bills v. St. George. 23-22 (won after playing an extra head); Petrie v. Kilmister 2S-12; Bills v. Knight, 31-7; Petrie v. D.Noble 25-10": A. Smith v. Larkin. 27-13; St. George v. A. .Smith. 24-11: Kilmister v. Webster, 21-1.°,: Bills v. Petrie, 20-14, Two rink- from the local Club will play Newtown at Newtown on Saturday week. Playing on the local green last evening B. F. Smith beat St. George. 23-10. The game was 13-13 on the 13th head, but after this Smith put up good stuff and won cpmfortably.
