WAIHOANGA SCHOOL.
PRIZE-GIVING CEREMONY. The prize-giving.'ceremony in connection with the Wailioanga State School took 1 place on* Friday in- fine .weather. There was a large attendance of adults and children, and the outing to all proved most enjoyable. During the day sports were held, while in the evening a euchre party -jand dance took place.- The presentation -of prizes-was made by Mrs Hill (wife of the worthy chairman), while Miss- Edmed, the popular teacher, addressed a few remarks to those present, referring -largely to .the work of'tho 'school and the duty of parents.
