LECTURFi TO OTAKI BUSINESS MEN. The business men of Otaki. and residents generally, will have an opportunity. on Tuesday evening next, 25th instant, of hearing Air Edward Moulton. of the Sheldon Institute of Business Science, deliver a lecture on the interesting topic of “Success hi Business.” Air Moulton has just arrived in New Zealand, to take up duties at director of the. Sheldon Educational Department, and is at present visiting and inspecting the various commercial" centres and promising towns. His lecture should be of special value to the people of this district.
As utir readers are probably aware, the Sheldon Institute, which has been endorsed by over 3000 firms und 100,000 business men, is one of the largest organisations in the world tor developing men in efficiency for business success. Many of the most influential “commercial kings” are keen supporters and. students of the movement.
While discussing the special needs and sueeess possibilities of Oiuki, s' r Moulton will also demonstrate how successful men have developed their abilities and overcome defects; how they have risen from the rank and file to the position of leadership, liow companies. have' been saved from losing in the nice for trade, and how whole ■staffs of- employees have been trained into a spirit of ■efficiency. The lecturer will suggest the way to a clearer understanding of human nature, and will refer to tlfe great negative factors which hold a eomjuiinity in cheek, and prevent expansion and improvement. The chairman will be Mr Byron Brown, chairman of the Town Board, and the lecture will commence at 7.45 o ’clock.
