J Glorious weather prevailed on WedInesfttty, and in consequence the local bowling green- presented an animated appearance. Three matches for the singles competition were played, and rosulted as follows: — Noblo v. Canning, 19-15. A good, game, won in hue style. Bills v. Ayrc, 31-13. The latter started well, but as the game progressed played much behind usual form. ° Williams"v: Knight, 20-9. Won with ease, the latter being "off colour."
