HIDES, CALFSKINS AND TALLOW .Thc-NiZ. i'armers’ Co-op, Distributing Co., Ltd., report that at the hides, calfskins and tallow sale held last Friday there was a very spirited demand. Prices ruled firm for all desI criptions, and catalogues were well cleared. The tallow market was very much neglected, and a number of lines were passed iu at prices considerably lower than those ruling a fortnight ago. Following is the range of prices:—Ox heavy 12d to 13 13 gd, ox medium lOd to 12|d, ox light 10Jd to Hid, cow i heavy lid to lljd, cow medium lOd to Hid, cow light 9?d to lid,-cut slippy and inferior 6jd to llid, bull stag Hid, yearlings S§d to llid, calf super--.ior 19d to 23d, calf medium to good llid to-221d, calf damaged ogd to laid, tallow iu casks 30s; sundries, tails 6d.
