CLEARING SALES.
The unreserved clearing sale to ba held at the Otaki sale-yards on Monday next at 1 p.m., on behalf of the Bright Bros.' estate is one that should attract buyers from all parts of tho coast. The stock to bo offered is am- - ong the best in the district, and is in, first-class condition. Some splendid lines of cows are bound to 'rule high," while the horses, which are a fine lot, embracing half-draughts, hacks, , etc., should command ready sale. A promising 2-year-old filly, now in training, will doubtless attract much attention, while such brood mares as Prevail and Waitotara should sell readily. Both are in foal to the well-known sire,< Bezoniaa. The rubber-tyred gig, together with the well-known trotter, "Tommy," and harness should be keenly sought after. Farmers should take full advantage of the sale of., implements, which include drills, rol- t lcr. mowers, harrows, ploughs, ctc.,vi»;ie, J many other useful articles will be also jj offered. Another highly important_ clearing sale will be held at Te Horo on Wednesday next, on account of Mr P. A Gillies, whoso lease has expired. Mr Gillies is offering the whole of his tip-top iloek, comprising 400 fat and, forward i-tooth wethers, and 800 IwOtooths; also a grand line of 70 fat and forward bullocks, 30 Hereford cows, and a number of other stock.
