TENNIS TOURNAMENT. * Tennis enthusiasts were much disappointed with the weather on Woflncs- ]| day (Anniversary Day), and was | thought that tennis was out of the question. —However, late in the /afternoon the weathgr cleared a little, and ( the proposed Yankee Tournament was got off. A number of intending com- E petitors were not present, owing to tho threatening weather, nut a fair number | competed, and ail who took part had 1 a most enjoyable afternoon. The win- | ners were Koloed and Mrs Burnell, 1 who won every game llsc-y participated | in. The prizes, were donated by Misses | I’ashc. /' 1
