explained tho policy to bo followed, after which the election of officers for the ensuing year was proceeded with, and resulted as follows :-NPresidcnt, Mr- Robert Bovan; vice-presidents, Messrs F. Burnell and A. MacKenzie; Committee, Alessrs E. J. Ivnight, AY. Bryant, and H. A r . Nicholson. Air P. Siincox was elected hon. secretary and delegate. At the close of tho meeting Mr Cooper pointed out the seriousness of having no reserve fund, and a list was opened which resulted' in over £S.being premised. A very successful meeting ended at a late hour.
