Mr W. H. Field, \i P., and 3Jrs Field spent the w;ek-end --X Waikanae. Mr Montague, who was recently thrown from a motor ear in Otaki, continues to make good progress in the hospital. The Rev. d. C. tlathwayt, now on 5 oliday in the South Island, returns rcrib this week, an"" wiith Mrs Blath--vayt, who is now at Seaioun, expects to return to Otaki id Thursday. A very old resident of Bulls died on Wednesday in the person of Mrs Margaret Hay, at the age of 91 years. The deceased lady had been ailing for the past ten years. Mrs H. E. Gorringe, of Levin, as a njemorial to the late Sergeant M. H. E. Gorringe. las donated the cost of the reading, writing took and lounge in the Y.M.C.A. building i-.tr convalescent soldiers on Pukeroa Hill, Eoiorua.
