Mr and Mrs C. Wildsmith, of Te Horo, received word by bast mail that their son, C. T. Wildsmith, who some rime ago received the Military Medal for bravery ou the Held, has been further honoured, having had the Distinguished Service Medal conferred ; upon him. "Charlie's" many friends throughout, this district will bo mosty gratified to hear of this further disinction for this brave young soldier, whom we, heartily congratulate, together ■with his parents. Young Wildsmith has also succeeded in securing his full commission in the Royal Air Force, und is now flying an Aurora scout single-seater, which has a terrific speed capacity. At iast advices Flight-Lieutenant Wildsmith was quite well.
