The Dean Case.

Sydney, Oct.iber 30. The trial of Crick, Meagher, Dean, Green, and Mrs Reynolds for conspiracy began to-day, and the whole day was occupied in the statement of the Crown case, and in proving the Police Court evidence and the speeches in Parliament. Counsel for the defence strongly condemned the Government for allowing Sir Julian Salomons to leave the colony, as he was a material witness, and declared that having offered Dean money to get away, he was as much a conspirator as the accused.
