TEAMS ON ROADS.
(to the editor.) Sir, —Repairing the County and Parihaka Roads in the winter is not a novelty when two-horse, teams are used, even with a 2J-inch tiro, but repairing with four and five-horse teams with a tiro is certainly an innovation. Mr Sherrin used a three-horse team some months ago, aud is to be prosecuted for the cost of repairs, but other persons can ise tive-horso-teams.—l am, Ac., Ratepayer.
