Messrs Nolan, Tonks and Co.’s Stock Report.
At Eltham, on 4thjnst., there was a fair muster of both cattle and sheep. Bidding was slack, yet most lines were cleared. We held a clearing sale bn sth inst., of dairy stock, &c., on account of Mr J. Penny. Cows were in good condition, and sold from £4 10s to £7 15s; springing heifers, £3 15s to £4 10s ; 2-year heifers, iu calf, £3 8s to £3 11s; weaner heifers, 295; draft filly £lB. AtHawera.on 6th inst., the quantity of stock advertised came forward. Competition was not keen, but we succeeded in disposing of most pens privately. We quote : At Eltham —Calves 12s to 15s; weaners, 16s to 22s ; yearlings, 26s (o 30s ; 2-year heifers, 45s to 37s 6d; store cows, 27s 6d to £2 15s ; springers, £4 5s to £4 16s; dairy cows, £4 7s 6d to £5.
At Hawera —Springing heifers, £4 2s 64 to £4 15s ; fat cows, £8 19s to £4 8s; forward cows, £3 5s to £3 7s 6d ; store cows, £2 10s to £2 15s ; 2£year steers, £3 7s 6d to £3 10s ; 18month steers, 37s to £2; yearlings, 30s; weaners, 15s to 22s ; 2-year steers, £2 4s.
Sheep.—At Eltham —Fat sheep, 5s lid to 6s 8d ; store ewes, 4s 6d. At Hawera—2-tooth ewes, in lamb, 7s 3d to 7s 9d ; lambs 4s 6d.

Hawera, June 6.
We held a very successful clearing sale on behalf of Messrs Cracken Bros., Manaia, on Friday, the 31st inst. The different lines of stock were all of superior quality, and made - very satisfactory prices, and also the sundries realised very satisfactory prices. We quote—Fat light-weight bullocks, £5 10s ; 2f-year steers, £8 15s; 2-year steers, £3 4s; fat wethers, 9s Id; draughts, £6 to £22 ; hacks, £7 to £8 7s 6d.
At Manaia, on Wednesday, the sth inst., about the advertised number of cattle came forward for sale. The attendance was fair, but bidding rather slow, though we practically sold everything that was yarded. We quote—-2-year steers, £2 3s to £2 7s ; 12 to 18-month steers, £1 IBs to £2 ; fat cows, £4 to £4 5s ; dairy cows, £4 5s to £6 12s 6d; weaners, £1 to £1 7s ; pigs, 20s to 255.
