Jetty Meeting at Rahotu.
(Our own Correspondent.) A meeting was held at the Eahotu Hotel on Satueday evening for the purpose of discussing the Opunake wharf question. There was a moderate attendance.
Mr Maxwell presided, and explained the preseut position of the Wharf Company, and their object in raising more money. Eventually Messrs Morrison, Wiley, Morgan and Duggan were appointed to canvas the district to induce settlei'3 to take up more shares. Mr Morrison to take the Kahui We3t and Kahotu Eoads and the South Road up to Eahotu ; Messrs Wiley and Duggan the Kahui East Eoad; and Mr Morgan the Tipoka Eoad, aDd Main Eoad North of Eahou.
