RAHOTU.
(Our Own Correspondent.) On Friday, March Ist, a rifle match, which proved to be the final one, took place at Manaia between the Rahotu and Manaia Rifle Clubs. Mr McGuire, M.H.R., presented a trophy, in the form of a silver cup, to be fired for by the Rahotu and Manaia Clubs. The conditions were that the trophy was to be won twice in succession or three times at intervals. Rahotu turned out to be the victors, winning by 32 points. The following are the scores :
The day was very fair, so far as the weather was concerned, and the Rahotu men consider it the pleasantest day they have yet spent in Manaia. March 4th.
