NOTICE is hereby given that this Board, at a Special Meeting to be held on MONDAY, November 2Cth, proposes to pass the following Special Order: — That, to secure the repayment of a loan of ,£IBOO, raised under “ The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act 188 G,” for the purpose of forming and metalling the Kahui East Road from the South Road to a point 10 chains along the frontage of Section 4, Block XY, Cape Survey District, and also to fall and stump the said road from the end of present falling to the Forest Reserve, a Special Rate of 4£d in the £ be made and levied over the following lauds, viz.: Sub-sections 1, 2,8, 4, o, of Section 118; Bub-sections 1,2, of Section 128 and Section 121, Block I; and Sections 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 2G, 86, 87, 88, 39, 40, 41, Block 11, and Sections 8,4, 5,7, Block 111, Opunake Survey District ; and Sections 1,2, 3, 4,5, 18, 19, 20, 21, 17, 28, 24, 25, 26, 27, Block XIV; and Sections 4,5, Block XV, Cape Survey District; and all the unoccupied lands abutting on either side of the Kahui East Road between the South Road and the Forest Reserve.
Such rate to be an annually recurring rate for 26 years, and shall be payable in one instalment at the office of the Board, Rahotu, on the Ist January in each year. E. MAXWELL, Chairman.
