A return has been obtained, on the motion of Mr M’Nttb, showing the amount of duty collected during the past three years on estates of over £20,000 in value under the Deceased Persons Estates Duties Act. From this it appears that twenty-one such estatrs had been enhjcct, aud the total amount collected was £86,002 10s Id, To this total A. O. Tollemache’s estate, valued at £-161,201, contributed £35.040, and W. H. Levin’s estate, valued at £3-12,7;!'), contributed £12,216, 12s ?J.
