Gerald O’Neil, a minor film playcr( who has been charged with bigamy, got quite a., reception when confronted in a Los Angeles court by six of eight wives—at least four of whom, it is alleged, lie did not divorce. Looking him over, wife No. 5 said: .‘Ho says he is only'49. Hogwash! He’ll never see 65 again. I bought him his teeth, his toupee, and his glasses. He’s just a shell 1” O’Neii Hushed, but had his moment when wife No. 8 gave him a big hug and kiss in front of the- others. “You see, kids. This is real love,” he remarked. O’Neal allegedly wooed and won most of his mates in the same dance hall.
