VISIT TO KUTAREKE On Sunday afternoon the members of the Opotiki Citizens’ Baud, lookleg their part in their new uniforms, rendered a varied pio gramme of music in tlm school grounds at Kutarcrc to- a large and appreciative audience. At- the conclusion of the programme the bandsmen were entertained to afternoon tea by the ladies of the district. On behalf of the residents, Mr.-Wells thanked the band for coming out and hoped .that it would come again at a later date. The conductor, Mr. G. Wilkinson, suitably replied and said that the members would all be pleased to make a return visit. A collection taken up during the afternoon resulted in a, handsome contribution to the uniform fund.
