ANIMAL “OSTRICHES”
Like crocodiles and ostriches, cows and oxen sometimes pick up a miscellaneous collection of objects when feeding, and appear to suffer few ill-effects. Silver and copper coins, pounds of nails and screws, buckles, bits of barbed-wire, stones, small tin containers and often pieces of tin, and other metal objects have been removed from their stomachs at post worteuis.
