In reply to a letter from the Auckland Provincial -Clou noil advice had been fonvardlod that the .Bay of Plenty Zone was prepared to supply three hundred pairs of sox for the troops. —The Auckland Executive advised that the necessary wool for the sox had been ordered. It was decided that the quantity of wool required by. the ■hulies in each district be left with the Inter-Zone chairman in each district to arrange. The secretary of the Auckland! Provincial Patriotic Committee forwarded cheque' for £SO being the amount iixod for the establishment and opera! ion of the Bay of Plenty Executive. The .Auckland Provincial Council wrote appealing for the supply of Christmas puddings and packages for men in the various camps. The Bay of. Plenty Zone was askecL to support the scheme. The responsibility for tbo collection and distribution of puddings and packages for the Hopuhopu Camp was allotted!, Zone G, being the Bay of Plenty. It was decided that packages lie left at the receiving depots to he arranged for in the various areas in the Bay of Plenty Zone. Mr. Shearman moved: That subscription lists for patriotic purposes ho opened by tho chairman of each 1 nter-Zone Committee. Seconded by Mr. Mo*>dy and carried). The chairman thanked tho various representatives for their attendance, especially the Opofiki delegates. Air. Moody expressed pleasure at tho goodl work that was done by tho cl)airmail and secretary.
