MONTHLY STOCK SALE Tile 'New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Btd. report as follows oil the monthly stock sale held in tlie G'potiki saleyards yesterday:— We had a lull yarding of cattle and small entry of sheep lor our sale. Sheep met with a ready, sale and cattle sold well at late rates. Jersey bullocks on account of Mr. Ei. Baigent. made to £9 15s. Prices realised wore : 2 and 4-tli wethers, 15s Gd; fat 4-tli wethers, 21s. Cattle: Fat bullocks, £7 10s to £9 15s; prime fat cows, £6 to £7 12s Od; fat cows, £5 to £6; killable cows, £4 5s to £5; good store cows, £3 to £4; honors, £2 to £3; heavy boner bulls, £4 to £0 os; boner bulls, £2 to £3; Jersey, bulls lor service, £5 to £8; choice Jersey yearling heifers, to £4 10s. Several good lines failed to reach vendors reserves. 2-year empty heifers, bad colours, £2 10s to £3; 18-month steers, Jersey, £1 5s to £2; cows with calves, £2 8s DABGETY AND CO. LTD. Messrs. Dalgcty and Company report that a good average yarding of all classes of cattle came forward. Fat cow and boners were yarded in larger numbers than usual and we quote the following prices which were realised during the sale : Prime fat cows, £6 17s to £7 2s 6d ; others, £5 6s to £5 16s; Jersey cows, to £5; lighter, £3 15s to £4 3s; store cows, £2 15s to £3 10s; others in lighter condition, to £3 8s; honor cows, £1 19s to £2 ss; potter hulls, £4 10s t 0 £6 10s.
