CLAY-BIRD SHOOT CLUB CHAMPION SHIP WON BY W, SEMMENS There were good entries at a shoot arranged by the Opotiki Rod and Gun Club and held on the club’s range on Mr. G. S. Moody’s property, Tablelands. The chief event of the day was the championship shoot, open to all club financial members. Leo Parkinson, W. Semmens and R. ll Kereliono tied and divided first 'money. In the shoot off to decide the championship Kereliono missed fit'the .fifth bird! and Parkinson, missed at the . eighth bird. Following are the results EYE-OPENER, 6 Birds, 16 Entries. —J. Brice (11yds.), J. McC’aldoif • (14 yds.) and Jack "Parkinson shot the possible and divided first-mon-ey. J. Ross, R-. Butler and N. Johnson each shot 5 birds. Black eacli shot 5 birds and divided second money. DRIVEN *CIAME SHOOT, 6 Birds, 15 yards in front of trap.—J. McOaldon shot the possible. J. Brice, A. Fleming, R. C. Butler, W. Semmens and W.
