MR. T. W. HENDRY WELL-KNOWN RESIDENT : i i ' ' PASSES . ' The death occurred on Wednesday, afternoon of Mx. T. W. Hendry, a. well-known and highly' respected citizen. of Opotiki. For thirteen years, Mr. Hemllry has been proprietor of the Opotiki Hotel. ' . ; Born in Lyttelton, sixty-twfT years ago, Mr. Hendry later went to Mercury Bay, where lie spent many years,, being well-known in thqt district as a hush contractor. Deceased later moved to Whakatane and then to Opotiki. , The funeral took place . oaf, Friday morning, the cortege being a very longone. Deceased is survived by his widow, and one daughter, Mis. 11. Mollwraith, to. whom the deepest .sympathy is extended in their loss.
