DURING ABSENCE During his, absence from his electorate, Mr, A. G. Hultquist, member for the Bay of Plenty (who will be entering camp .shortly), will have the interests of In's constituents,caredl for by. Bilbour members of adjoining electorates: Air, Coleman/ ALP., Gisborne, and Air. Aloncur AI.P. Rotorua. Arrangements have been made as follows : 1 Air. A. F. Aloncur will, during the whole time that Al|r. Hultquist is rendering military service at Home or abroad, attend to all matters arising in the area o*ll the north-western side of the Rnukumara range. The district includes the. following post offices; Tuiiontun, Te Toko, wiiakatano, Awakori, lEVlgecumbo, Koipeopoo, Ohope, Poroporo, Rmi tolcl North, Thornton,. Tbupoto, Kuturerc, Lower AVaiawa, O'potiki, Wainmna, Cope Runaway, Nukuhou North, Omaio, Oponae, Ranlcokore, Te Kalia. Ton Toa, Torero, Waiotahi, Wairata. Any correspondence relating to any matter which concerns, any elector residing in any ■ of the above-mentioned post office districts, or relating to matters affecting any of the districts should, unless later adirice to the contrary is issued, be referred, as from the Ist. .January, IPK), to Air. A. F. Aloncur, ALP.,, whose address is Fenton Street, Rotorua, while the House is not sitting, and c/()■ Parliament Buildings, Wellington, when the House in in. Session. Air. J>. W. Coleman, ALP. for Gisborne will, in. the same terms as are expressed, in regard to the north-west-ern sectio'n of the Bay of Plenty Electorate, attend to the electoral needs, in the. south eastern portion of the electorate. Arere, East Cape, Hautanoa, llexton, Hicks Bay, Allakaraka, Alakauri, Alangapapa, Alotuliora., Ormond, Otoko, Puha. Rakauroa, Rangitukia, Te Puia Springs, Waorenga-a-hika, Waikolm, Waimata. Valley, Waioniatntini, Waijiaoa, Waitakaroa, Wbakaangiaiigi, Whangarn, Wliatatutu. Air. Coleman’s address ! during the Parlia-mentary recess is 161,. Stanley Road, Gisborne, or c/oi the Borough Council Chambers, Gisborne. When the House is in Session, lii. s address is the same as Air. Alomur’s. The fact that Al.ossfs. Aloncur and Coleman Al. P’s, have so willingly agreed to look after the interests of the Bay-of Plenty electorate is, naturally, a cause for the utmost appreciation of their generous action by Air. Multquist himself, who has asked this paper to assure electors that their aliaiis will be well cared for by his two colleagues. For their patriotic act of mnjking it possible for one of their colleagues to enter the military forces, Messrs. Aloncur and Coleman deserve aiid| will receive great credit and appreciation. from, not only tfie constituents in the Bay of Plenty Electorate but the electors in the Rotorua and Gisborne Electorates as well.

December, except for a visit lie will make to the Taneatua branch of the Labour Party. next Tuesday evening (281 h.. inst.). On Friday next he will accompany Mr. J. Thorn M.J*. on a visit, ty. Opotiki, Matawai, Gisborne, all T'e Karaka. Mr. Hultquist will then be in Whakatauo on Monday and Tuesday the 4th. and sth. December, paying a. visit to the Awakeri branch of the pai'ty on Tuesday evening the sth., and ho will leave with Mrs. Kultquist for Wellington on Wednesday 6th. Decenilier to finalise a number of matters affecting Ins electorate. As already .stated, he will enter camp on tho Saturday, and- does not expect to return to. Whalcatane for some time. Mrs, Hultquist- will return .■ .< to Whakatane on tlie following Monday (11th. December).
