Mr. Howard) died last April and the s will,’ in his own hand-writing, is dated June 23, 193 u. It makes a. number of small bequests to. relatives and friends, the substantial amount of the. estate being left equally to Mr. Howard’s daughters, Miss Mabel Howard and Airs. Elsie Lament. In an introductory paragraph very characteristic of Air. Howard’s method of expression he wrote: “Having had a couple of warnings, .or so the doctors say, I desire to put my house in order ready to leave should the gentleman with the scythe come suddenly. This, then, is my last will and testament.”
