The folloiwing report was presented hv the .superintendent (Mr. J. Shatv) for the period April, to September:— I Hiring the jmi'iuil, there have been no requirements in and around the grounds'. Several of the signal bo-xes have been giving a little trouble, but at present nil are in fair condition. Fire Calls.—. During the period your brigade have answered three calls to liits. all of Which are covered by the usual report. lu addition we luivo answered three false alarms. Two lurv been caused by lightning and ono by telegraph linesmen. ‘ brigade.—The hrigadle is at present nt lull strength.
