AMATEUR ATHLETICS

In the half-mile it was obvious after a short distance" had 'been run that P. C okesoff a good mark would have a runaway win. Competition was generally very keen and the competitors were well satisfied with the sports. The committee greatly appreciated the assistance rendered by Messrs. Parkinson’s public address system.
