HOW TO PUT A FIXTURE LATH & PLASTER •vir* i Yg.ifr" OFTEN the wall material is so bad that no method could give a perfect fixture ; but Rawlplugs make the best of a difficult job. You carefully make a hole iu the plaster with the Rawlplug Tool. Choose a long Rawlplug, split its end up for about half an inch (Fig. 1). Insert it with the split end outwards and open out the split portions (Fig. 2). Then when you insert the screw, the plug will be prevented from slipping into the hollow behind the plaster. The Rawlplug grips the plaster and makes the; fixture secure. Turn the screw home, then cut away the split portions of the Rawlplug (Fig. 3). The Rawlplug will then be invisible and your fixture is finally in position. In fixing anything to any material — plaster, brick, tile, concrete, etc., always use Rawlplugs, obtainable from your Ironmonger, Electrician or Stores. THE RAWLPLUG COMPANY. LIMITED.
