Shalloon, Woodlands, on Saturday by a number of young people, when, the tennis court was opened. Alter a number of games had been played, the hostess served a very dainty afternoon tea. Play was resumed and continued till late in the afternoon. TOA toa red cross dance A dance, organised by Alesdames Stalky, Airs. Kcenlysido, Munro, and Aliss AI. Reid! was held at Toa Ton on 'Wednesday last, the proceeds being in aid of the Red Cross Society’s lands. The organisers are to be congratulated on the success of tin 1 dance. The sum of £4 7s has lieen handed to Airs. Quirk, who is responsible for all entertainment funds for tin* Red ( ross Society. CATHOLIC DANCE IN LYRIC There was a large attendance at the Catholic dance held in the Lyric Hall last Wednesday-night, Tim music: was supplied by AlcDougail’s I lot Scots. Extras were played by Air. J. Savage and) Air. N. Elliott; Air- R. Laird. Air. !«]. Honnossy and Air. N. •Hlliott. A was won by Air. L. S. Merge- Alonte Carlos were won by Aliss and Air. P. Clark, AIL ~n E. Lake and Air. V.
