FORTNICHTLY PI C SALE LOWER PRICES The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd. report as follows on the fortnightly pig sale, which was held in the saleyards en Monday:— We bad a good yarding of pigs, principally baconers and small sorts. Good stores and buttermilk pigs were scarce. Baconers show a decline on late rates- and owing to indefinite schedule we report sale lacked the confidence of buyers and several pen* <T baconers wore passed. Prices realised were:— Heavy prime baconers, £3 8s to £3 12- ; medium baconers. £3 3s to £3 (is; light baconers, £2 15,s to £3 2s; heavy porkers, £2 7s to £2 12s; light porkers, £2 2s to £2 5s ;* good stores. 38s to 475; others,’ 80s to 30s; slips, te 30s; good weaners 25s to 295; small sort's. 19s to 235; maiden sows, to £8 5s ; aged sows, to £3 2s Gd; choppers, 34s to £2.
