Their quarrels, temperamental outbursts, and jealousies, together with their joint attempt to outwit a producer, whowants to prevent them from accepting an offer from Hollywood, make for !i comedy which; is rich in laughter and it the same time* l'c'plete with, beauiiul and orng.ital song and dunce .presentations. Miss MacDonald and K'ddv prove* themselves, as skillful in 'modern rules as in their* past costume-successes, Uhd offer a mujsiesil feast in their singing of the lovcdjv 'Victor Herbert songs, among tfaem, “Sweethearts,” • "Every Lover Must Meet Mife Fate,” “Pretty As a Picture,” and -‘On Bara tie-.’’' The supporting cast is one of the best, including iit its imposing lineup such: well-known performers- as Frank Morgan in the. role* e>f the- scheming hut laughable producer,- Ray Bolger who dances with Miss Mae-Dona Id and nisei in solo utrmbors, Florence Hiee as Miss Mae Da«akl’s secretary, Miseha Auer, He'vuum Bing ami Reginald Gardiner.
