WEDDING
KING—MoPEAKE (Waimana Correspondent.) Cu Saturday, September 23, the Presbyterian .Church,. Taneatua, was the scene of a pretty hut quiet wedding, when Joyce Alfrcda, youngest daughter of Air and Airs 15. McPeh-ke, Taneatua, was married to Trevorton Garnet, youngest soil of the late Air. and Mrs. G. AY. King, late of Hawke’s Bay and .AYhakatane. 'The Rev. Stewart officiated and Airs. Holloway played the wedding music. 'The bride, who' entered the church on the arm of her father, chose a smart two-toned clover ensemble, and hat and .accessories to match, and carried* ii charming posy in shades of lavender. The bride was attended hv Aliss Aly rtUN Davies, as bridesmaid, who wore a smart frock of clipper green and hat and shoes and gloves to "match and carried a posy of flowers to tone.
The bridegroom was attended by his brother. Air. Gordon King, of Glmpe, as grooiusjnan.
At the inception, held at tlu'* home of the bride’s parents, the guests were received by Airs AUd’eake, who wore a smart navy-blue ecstume and navy hat and lurs. and earned a posy of autumn-tinted flowers' 1 .
Airs. King, 'of Glume, step-mother of the. In icl’egroom, wore a navy irock and .accessories to tone and carried a po>y of autumn-tinted flowers also. The happy couple later .left, by ear on their honeymoon, the bride travelling in a navy-tailored costume, with navv accessories and iur stole.
