ASSISTANCE TO . VOLUNTEERS The following decisions arrived afc by the Council of the Automobile Association have been handed toi tho News by -Mi'. O. Pipe, the local agent, for publication:— Council has decided that members of staff called up for military service will be subsidised! to the extent of'the difference between their military pay, including wife and family allowance, and the standard! rate of pay for the position'held by them in the Association, this arrangement to lie reviewed at tho end of three months.: It has been decided that members who have been called up for military (service will be kept on the membership roll during the term of their service without payment of annual subscriptions. Such members will be required to fill in a- special form drawn up for the purpose, supplies of which can be obtained from headquarters on application.
