APPOI X'l'M lON TS 31AI )E A meeting of the Red Cross committee was held in. the Borough Council chambers last night. There was. a full attendance of 20 members of the committee. The following were addl'd to the committee: Messrs. A. G. Stevenson and -O. Pipe, and the presidents of the W’oodllands, Waiotalii. Omnruuiutu and Te Kaha Women’s Institutes. Mr. E. J. Baigent was appointed chairman of the executive committee and Air. 10. C*. East lion, treasurer and acting secretary. Mrs. A. Ei. Miutm was appointed convener of the nursing committee and Mrs. do Montalk convener of the comforts 'committee.
