MOTORIST IMPRISONED DRUNK LX CHARGE COMPANION ALSO FIXER Facing a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a. ear. Walter Paki Tutahi. a public works employee, of iKklgecumbe, was convicted and sentenced to one month’s imprisonment, Ids license being cancelled for 12" months. The ease was heard before Messrs, (L S. -Moody and F. J. Short, J’s.P., at the Opotiki Courthouse this morning, and Sergeant Ishister conducted proceedings on behalf of the police. Sergeant Ishister stated that at A.-15 oil Saturday evening, he and Constable Cooper questioned a. man named' Savage who was sitting in they front of a car in Kelly Street.
