The annual meeting of the iwi karuga (heme tribes) of Polio-o-Bawiri. the meeting-house of the Maoris in the Gisborne area, was held a. lew days ago in Gisborne, with Mr. 11. After the usual pohiri and tangi the visitors adjourned to the meetingJiouse for a conference. An official, luncheon for GO guests took place, the visitors leaving for their homes later: in the day.
