WOODLANDS GIFT EVENING

A combined gift evening and fortnightly social was held in the Woodlands Hall oil Friday night in honour •of Miss X. Storer and Air. J. Burns. Music was supplied hy -Mr. Alannix and extras were ]>layed hy -Mrs. Alann!\. The duties of AI.C. were capably carried! out by Air. Stavelev. Monte Carlos were won by Airs. B. Day and Air’ S. Brown. Aliss Bate and partner. Alter supper Air. Stavelev asked Aliss Stcrer and -Mr. Burns to come forward and accept the nijiiiv gift’s. AJr. Burns on behalf of Aliss Storer and himself, thanked the Woodlands residents for their good wisl.ies and kindness. Those piesent then joined in singing “For They are Jolly flood Fellows”.
