HARRISON OPOTIKI BOROUGH COUNCIL NOTIFICATI ()N OF INT KNTI ON TO JM'AIvKI RAT ItS NOTICE is hercliy given that the Opotiki Borough Council proposes, at a' meeting to lie held at- the Borough Opotiki, on TUESDAiY, the 29th.. day of August, 1939, to make and levy, under tin 1 provisions of the Rating Act, 1925, and all other Acts and powers enabling in that behalf for the period commencing on the Ist. day of April 1939,rind ending on the 31st. clay of .March. 1940: A Oeneral Rate of Four pence (4d.) in the pound, A Lighting Rate of three farthings (Jd) in tlie pound, A Hospital Board Levy Rate of One Penny Farthing (lid) in the pound, A Fire Board Levy Rate of one farthing (id) in the pound. One penny halfpenny (1 Id) in the pound to meet instalments of Conversion Loan No. 1. and one farthing (id| to meet instalments of Conversion Lpan No. 2. The above mentioned iorming an amalgamated rate o! eight pence in the pound.
