GOOD DAY ON SATURDAY STRONG BARF PIT UP Although only a liall-iiuiv meet- was held on Saturday at Tablelands by the Opotiki Bunt Club, it was vor\ well attended, followers being treated to several runs. The hounds threw off in Air. J. Young’s paddock and crossing a blind road a strong hare was .soon on tho run. Passing through -Messrs. Reid Bros.’ property it crossed ovci the road into Airs. It. Young’s farm, where it was lost in cover. Returning t.) Alessrs. Reid Bros.’ farm anothei run led the pack over the- hill into a deep gully where the scent was lost. Another short run was had behind Air. F. Reid’s homestead before the hounds were called off. As the guests of Air. and -Mrs. F. Reid followers were treated to a sumptuous afternoon tea at the homestead. Among the followers we net iced : G. Clark, the -Master, oil To Nelli. T. Kelly, the Huntsman, on Biela. The Whips, Messrs.
