Sir, —On arriving in Opotiki on a recent dark night I 1 was surprised to see two gentlemen and one cow ; the gents on either side of the road and the cow om the footpath. Might I point out that they (the gentlemen) would have' no claim in the event Of an accidlent? B. S. HOLM . Opotiki.
