PEDIGREE JERSEY DISPERSA4. The Ise\v Zealand Loaji and Alercantilei Agency Co. Ltd. report as follows oil the second annual dispersal sale of “Ton Toa Jerseys” held on tlie farm of Air. W. Paul, Verrall’s Hoad, Opotiki:— Buyers were present from all parts of the Bay of Plenty and the Waikato. Mr. G. S. Bruce, of Walton took a. truck of quality cattle!. Top price of the sale was 4S guineas paid for Toa Toa Imperator, by Air. A. J. Hopkirk, Te Teko. The two-year bulls niet with good competition throughout. The yearling bulls offered were Jate calves and" condition was only fair, but all were-keenly competed fpr. - - The aged cows offered were late calvers and did not meet with very much ccmpetition.

Tlie 2-year in-call' heifers offered were-a really good lot and they had not been pampered in ami way. Reserves in most eases were high and top price, 20 gns., was paid l by Mr. 'l'. Tauranga are at; present holders of the Hurinui Shield, having lilted it from Apanui and withstanding Galatea’s challenge last week. Te Puke will play for the shield on Saturday, AYhakatane’s challenge following and then Opotiki will play the winners oL this game.
