CITIZENS’ ANNUAL MEETING ELHCTIO'X OF OFFICERS The annual meeting of the Opotiki Citizens’ Croquet Club was bold at the residence of Mr. Rusden. on Jinie 28th i. , 1930.

Present: Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. J. Parkinson, Mrs. I. Rusden, Mrs. Burton, Mrs. H. Parkinson, Mrs. G. Mad-' dren, Mrs. O Tabb, jMrs. G. Lysaght, Mrs. Palmer, Mrs. Burnett, Mrs. A. G ; Stevenson, Mrs. G. L. Bay, Mrs. Chatfield, Mrs. W. Maddren, Mrs. M.ortenson. The minutes of the previous meeting were read anc# confirmed. The treasurer’s report and the balance sheet were adopted. - ' Trophies, yon during the season were presented by Mrs. Johnson, as follows : Mrs. H. Parkinson, club cup and miniature. Mrs. G. Li. Day: Talbot cup and button. Mrs. G. L. Day and Mrs. W. Maddren, Clark Cup and silver buttons. ' Mrs. J. Parkinson, Mrs. Yv. M'acLdren and Mrs. Burton, silver buttons. Officers The election of officers for 1939-40 resulted as follows : - President, Mrs. Johnson (re-elect-edl). Vice-president, Mrs. Burton (reelected-. Secretary. After the usual business was finished, afternoon tea was served, and a vote, of thank.s to Mrs. Rusden for the use of her home concluded the meeting.
