J. W ilscui, Lord Street. DANCE AT WAIOEKA - A very successful dance was held in the Waioeka Hall oil A\ oduesday, The music was supplied by AlcDougall’s Hot Scots and an extra was played by Air. Curtis. The duties of M.C. were carried out by Air. G. Butler. A, Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss S. Butler and Air. Curtis. Among those present were : Airs. Russell, Mrs. H. Hudson. Miss G. STEPHEN’S MONTHLY SOCIAL Despite very unfavourable weather conditions, there was quite a fair attendance at the St. Stephen’s monthly social, held in the Barisli Hall. The music was supplied by Air. AlcDougall, with au extra by Aliss K. Jephson. Alonte Carlos were won by Aliss Q. Guthrie and Air. L. Burton, and Aliss J. Salt and Air. S. Williams. A competition was won by Aliss B.
