OPOTIKI HUNT CLUB
AN ENJOYABLE DAY ONE KILL BFICOBDFD A very successful hunt took place/ at Paerata Bidge on "Wednesday, under ideal weather conditions. A large following enjoyed an exceptionally good run. The hounds threw off in All*. Talbot’s property, where a hare was soon put up and after a lively run it crossed over into Air. W. J. Thompson’s property, then returned into Air. Talbot’s property, where a kill took place. The run lasted approximately two hours. Among the followers were:— Air. T. Clark, deputy master; Air. T. Kelly. huntsman; Alcssrs. O. Booth, K. Kelly, whips; Air. S. Abbot, president; Mr. 1. Bustlen, field secretary. Alcssrs. T. Hennessy, BHurrey,' J. Kelly, AY. Kelly, H. Hill, T. Walker, Al. Hennessy, V. Alulhern,. B. Aidney. L. Connor. J. Burnside. C. Kelly, Ted Smith, L. Parkinson, J. Connor. J. Clark. Alasters G. Mill and J. Walker. Mrs. T. Black. Misses T. Parlvjinson. J. Lake, C. Barker, B. Abbot, C. Lake, Jobliu, and S. Scott. Afternoon tea was enjoyed at Air. Thompson’s. Air. r J’. Clark, deputymaster, in the absence of the master, Air. C. Clark, thanked the property owners and the ladies’ committee for their assistance to the club.
