. MEETING OF COMLMI’iTEE A meeting of the Drama Festival Committee took place on Tuesday' afternoon, Mrs. Gault presiding. Final arrangements were made for the festival, .which is to. he held obi July stli. It >yas decided that the first play be presented at 12.30 p.m. sharp, the doors of the hall to be closed till tllQ end of the play. The three winning plays will be presented again at night. . ' —... Mrs. Gault announced that five plays were to lie put on, . a very teresting one being especially written for the festival. This play is being performed- by the Omarumutu Maori Institute. The adjudicator is to be Mr.. Sodden Hill, of Gisborne. . A handsome trophy is to be prer sented to the winning players. Thanks to Mrs. Gault brought a most successful meeting to a close.
