PRE-SESSIONAL TOUR

MR. HULTQUIST’S ITINERARY Mr. A. G. Multquist, M..l\ for the Bay of Plenty, was in Opotiki to-day from approximately 11 a.m. till 2 p. in., en route to Matawai, where he is scheduled to address, a public meeting to-night oil the subject of “Control of Exchange and the Government’s Financial Policy”. On Thursday, Mr. Multquist will make calls at Rakauroa andl Te Karaka en route to Gisborne, and on Friday he has a number of engagements jvith electors in the Gisborne portion of the electorate. On Friday evening, Mr. Hultquist will be the guest of party members at an annual re-union at Kaiteratahi. On Saturday next he will address a. Maori gathering at Pulia aiid on Monday 29th., will commence a quick tour of the -Coast. His Coast itinerary is as follows:—Tuesday, 30th., Te Araroa and Hick’s Bay. Wed. 31st., Tiki Tiki and Ruatoria and a meeting of Maori folk at Waikakaro. in the evening. Thursday, Ist. June, Waipire Bay, Te Puia and Tokomaru Bay. Friday, 2nd. June, Tolaga Bay andi Whangara. He will return to> Gisborne on Saturday, 3rd. June and meet members of the new Waerenga-a-hika branch that evening. He proposes to return to Whakatane on Monday, sth. June and is scheduled to open the Bay of Plenty Winter Shonv at Whakatane on the 7th. June . He will leave for Welling-

ton on 9tli. June to attend a meeting of the National Executive of the Party on the 10th., and during the following week or two he proposes to pay a visit to places on the Coast between Opotiki. and Cape Runaway. Mr. Hultquist expects that the Ist. session will open on Tuesday, June 27th., and the tqpr outlined above is something in the nature of a pro-ses-sional visit to electors.
