woodlands meeting The AVcodlands Women’s Institute held their monthly meeting recently, Airs. Noble presiding. The usual business was dealt with andi. Airs. Price, assisted by Airs. Barbour, gave a report on the Federation meeting. . It was decided to send a donation to* the “Community Singing Fund.” The roll call “The Most Beautiful Thing i have ever- Seen” brought forth a variety of answers. Airs. Dodgscui gave a short talk on her recent trip to Hawke’s Bay and the South Island. This was greatly appreciated. There were good entries in the competitions. Airs. Price gained first place for the shoulder spray. the “Something new and something old” competition was won hv Airs. Noble (table lamp). Hostesses for the afternoon were Mosdames Alulhern and Barbour. Thanks to* the hostesses brought a very pleasant afternoon to a close.
