Every person who is so entitled must complete the appropriate form of application for exemption within seyen days after the last day for payment- of ‘.such instalment. Every- person who is leaving New Zealand either permanently or temporarily is required before departure to obtain: a Clearance Certificate. This certificate should be obtained by all persons whether in receipt of income or not. Application for a Clearance Certificate, should lie made to the Commissioner of Taxes, 'Wellington, not earlier than thirty days and if possible not later than fifteen days, before the intended date of departure from New Zealand. Applications forms with instructions thereon are available at all shipping offices. Employers are required to deduct the Social Security Charge from tlio salaries or wages paid to employees, including the value of benefits in Icindi, such as food, lodging or free house provided and must also ensure that the employees effect payment of all due instalments 9f the Registration Fee. ..
