SUFFERING, BUT CARRIED ON HADFIELD (Derbyshire), Feb. 13. —Dr. J. Watson Struthers, who died here yesterday, saerified his life for his patients. He was 39. The doctor hadl a big practice in Hedfield and Tintwistle. Many of his patients are influenza victims and although suffering from it himself, he carried on. He told a friend that he felt top weary and ill even to conduct patients to the detor of his surgery in Had he Id road, after consultation, as was his custom. , 1 ' Despite the pleas of. his wife,, his colleagues, friends and the patients themselves, Dr. Struthers refused to go to bed! until a- few days ago. On Friday night he consented to a doctor being called. His condition then was so serious that he was ordered to hospital. 'Dr. Struthers married his housekeeper 18 months ago.
